Janet MacKay now expecting her third child, and Tracy Pintchman expecting her second!

01/04/02 - Juice from Judy:

Sue Yablon and her husband Jeff are the proud new parents of Stephen Harry. Little Stephen was born yesterday and weighed in at 6 lbs 3 oz. We hear everyone is doing well! Judy also passed along that Robin Ginsburg recently had a baby too. Congrats to all!

7/15/01: From Sue Y.

Jeff and I are expecting our first (my only!) baby (well, it's my first, his third) on Jan. 7th, 2002. I've been sick :( but we are really excited!!

7/11/01: From Jamie D.

Too bad I missed John's tour of Armonk. Filancia is probably the only one who might know it better.

I will definitely be in attendance at the 25th reunion and would be willing to get involved to organize it, from Chicago or where ever my family is living at the time.

My wife, Hilary, gave birth to a boy on June 16, 2001 at 5:51am (Keagan Ross) after few false alarms since midway through May. Everyone is healthy.

7/4/01: This just in from Laura B.

Hi Everyone!
Just wanted to send you a quick note and let you know I got engaged! We just went out with a software version release over the weekend and it was crazy the past few weeks... and we had a few production emergencies since Monday.

So its been crazy......or I would have told you sooner. I'm very excited....so much to do!!!!

Dave proposed to me on Thursday night May 3rd when I got down to his house in Mystic. First I got to the house and he was there (#1 something that NEVER happens!!!) Then he offered to go out to my truck and bring my suitcase in (OK thats #2....something here is odd)......

I went into the bathroom and he followed me in... and I wanted to wash my face and clean up....we were going to go down to the local pub for a drink and dinner, but he wouldnt leave the bathroom.....

(I later found out the ring was hiding in a box in the towels and he was afraid I was going to grab one... hahahha).....

So he stands there and asks me if I would like a glass of wine.....(#3......) I said, "Why would I want a glass of wine if we're going down to the pub?"......

I had on a dress I wore to work.....he asked me if I wanted to change....."yes I guess so"......so I went upstairs to change into some jeans......and then he comes walking up a few minutes later....(#4......what are you doing up here?......)

It was hot and sweaty....like in the 90's and he comes walking in.....and he says "I need a hug"........(#5....IM SWEATING HERE!!!!)....OK, I'll give you hug....I missed you this week......so then he looks at me, and he says "I need another hug"........(#6....OK NOW YOU'RE PUSHING IT....ITS LIKE A SAUNA IN THIS HOUSE!! WHEN ARE WE PUTTING IN THE AIR CONDITIONERS!!!!)......but I give him the hug..... then he reaches from behind his back and produces a beautiful black box......and says "I have something for you".......well honestly I was in shock....but I was soooooooooo happy!!! ......I grabbed the box and opened it (OK must have been the Italian in me who has never been this close to an engagement ring!!! hahahah).....so the ring fit (of course.....he was very sneaky and used one of my other ones to get it sized).......of course I said YES! and then we went out to dinner and celebrated.....came home and told Lynn and Bob when she got home from work at 8:30.......

We are planning on getting married June 8th next year(2002).

The wedding will be in Mystic.......

HAPPY AND SAFE FOURTH OF JULY TO EVERYONE!!
LAURA

6/7/01: Seth and Maureen are the proud new parents of Nathan Alexander... Congratulations!

4/26/01: Congratulations to Rob F. and his new bride, Kerrie! Here's what we've heard about the event:

"Wedding was great. It was held at the Wallkill Country Club in Middletown, NY. Guests were greeted with hord'evours and classical music. Rob was ebullient and glowing, no sense of any nerves. Kerrie was no where to be seen. The baby, Liliana, was adorable, in her white dress, matching Mom's gown!

Appetizers, dinner, dessert - all great.

All of Rob's 7 sisters were present - Joanne, the oldest, came all the way from Denmark.

BHHS class of 80 friends included Mark Kup, George B., Andy V., Jon B., Jack G., Phil H., Scott S., Neill K., Charlie L. and John S. George gave the best man remarks - considering what he could have said, George did just fine. He made Rob sweat a little bit, Kerrie's family maybe squirmed in their seats a bit, but George wrapped up and closed with a smooth, sincere, and heartfelt ending. Cheers!

As all good times, the night went fast. A bunch of people adjourned to the Holiday Inn were Kup was throwing pretzels at everybody. He was also sporting the slickest pair of investment banker shit kickers the east coast has ever seen!! I don't think he's going to be on the cover of GQ anytime soon!

Brunch the next morning provided a great opportunity to recap the evening. Rob still didn't seem to understand the gravity of the event, as he still seemed to be on a cloud. All in all, we had a great time, as did the many other guests."
