A Memorial Service was held on Sunday, September 23rd, at 11:00 AM at the Fairview Country Club in Greenwich, CT. The family asked that, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to either the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC or to the American Red Cross New York Relief Fund, PO Box 97089, Washington, DC 20013.

Byram Hills alumni in attendance at the Memorial Service were George Bellantoni, Stuart Basseches (Class of '78), David Shmerler (Class of '76), Nancy Bernard, Sue Yablon, Brad Hall, Sally Tucker, Nancy Struth, Robin Ginsburg, Rick Luftglass, Jayne Marino and Tammy Herridge. Joanne's mother spoke, as well as her cousins Jenny Nelson (Class of '82) and Jonathan Nelson (Class of '86) and Brad Hall.
